Item Description
27x41" one-sheet movie poster for the original release of the 1947 Western "Prairie Raiders" that starred Charles "Durango" Starrett and Smiley Burnette. Poster has been signed in red felt tip pen "1983 - To Ben Greberman - From His Friend Who Rode For The 'West That Wasn't' - 1935-1952" underneath credits at top, adding large 14" wide "Charles 'Durango' Starrett" signature below film's title. Poster has been folded and shows wear along fold creases w/.5" to 2.5" tears at fold crease intersections and .75" and 1.75" tears to left of center fold crease intersection. .5" hole at center. VG overall, but extant of fold issues could be somewhat reduced if linen-mounted. Rarely seen signed piece w/lengthy and exceptional inscription. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
