Item Description
27x41" one-sheet movie poster for original release of the 1942 Republic Western starring Roy Rogers. Poster is dominated by portrait of Rogers w/co-stars George "Gabby" Hayes and Linda Hayes w/image of group at bottom. Poster has been signed at top under Rogers' "King Of The Cowboys" moniker, Rogers adding "Trails Of Happiness" inscription in black felt tip pen. Poster has been folded and shows wear along margins, w/small tears and chips, most noticeable at top left. Fold lines show some wear w/archival tape repair on reverse to 1" tear at center fold crease intersection. Additional archival tape repair to edge tear. Fine overall, but would mat for nice display. Roy Rogers was a prolific autograph signer, but vintage signed movie posters like this one are few and far between. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
