A 16-pager is an X-rated sexually explicit comic book, also referred to as a "Tijuana Bible," these illustrated booklets featured unauthorized use of comic characters. 3.5x5.75" c. 1930s. Front cover has nice art of Popeye and Wimpy on boat w/Popeye looking through telescope glass at startled nude woman beside "Nudist Camp" sign. Storyline has them joining nudist camp and becoming sexually involved w/women. Wimpy is not having as much luck as Popeye until a hornet's nest falls onto his penis, causing it to swell to comical proportions. Trace of lt. cover dust soiling, most noticeable on blank back cover. A few inside pages have extremely tiny corner creases at upper right. Overall clean and VF. Extremely well-drawn and funny. Much rarer that the "Popeye And Wimpy In Paris" 16-Pager and this is the only copy of this title we've seen in our 48 years.
