Pair of large format BLB-like books published by Saalfield, ©1936 King Features Syndicate, Inc. Both feature alternating text pages w/illustrations by Popeye creator E.C. Segar. Hardcover version is #1113 and shows scattered lt. wear w/some dust soiling to interior cover edges. Pages are evenly aged to cream in color. VF. Softcover is #1593 and has moderate handling wear and aging w/several pages having corner creases and/or edge/corner chips. Pages are moderately aged to cream in color. VG. Rogers M.
