Item Description
12x17" DC Comics artboard features artists Kieron Dwyer and Denis Rodier's original pen and ink cover art to the Sept. 1995 issue of "Action Comics" #713. Bold cover features the villain Saviour (who has a Superman symbol carved into his forehead and wears a bloodied Superman symbol on his suit) throttles Superman from behind. Artboard has various production notations at margins and lower center margin has been signed in black felt tip pen by Dwyer. Three aged strips of tape at production centering marks at left/right and bottom margins. Artboard has attached acetate cover overlay w/DC indica, writer/artist name and UPC bar block. Artboard has some lt. handling wear but art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/reading copy of actual comic that has been signed by Dwyer. Franco Toscanini Collection.
