Tin litho toy consists of an 8" long two-piece rocket and 9.5" long "launching station" base w/crank and release button. 1950s. Box wear includes two lid corner splits w/clear tape repairs, 2" puncture left of center and 2" corner tear both have reinforcement repair on lid interior. Lid also has penciling to the red lettering. VG. The toy works and after the rocket is launched it travels forward a short distance before the two halves serparate. Toy has moderate scattered wear/aging including paint nicks/scratches. Fine. Nice action.
