Item Description
2x3" aluminum buckle shaped like Superman's iconic "S" symbol is complete w/attached 27" long vinyl belt w/slotted clip for attaching to buckle. Issued as Kellogg's Corn Flakes premium that was available for 25¢ and one box top. ©1955 National Comics Publications, Inc. Exc. Comes w/complete and assembled empty 8 oz. box of Corn Flakes that features banner ad on front as well as full back panel offer for this premium, including full body Superman image as well as image of premium. Box shows scattered aging and moderate wear w/heavy crease 3" from top. Fine. Lot also includes rare 1x5.25" miniature store flicker/flasher sign w/"Superman Belt Offer" text and image of premium and Corn Flakes box. Original backing paper has some age spotting but rest is Exc. First we've seen in our 48 years. Rest of lot is comprised of premium instruction folder which has moderate handling wear w/creases. VG. "Kellogg's Fun Catalog" also pictures belt/buckle premium and other cereal premiums. Aged and Fine overall. The most complete lot possible for the classic Superman premium.
