Item Description
Lot of 11 postcards, each 3.5x5.5" and from same series by Bamforth & Co., Ltd. Printed in England, 1920s. All designs feature bw cartoon art. Two feature movie theme, one w/Felix dressed as Charlie Chaplin, the other has him mentioning Douglas Fairbanks, Rudolph Valentino and Chaplin. Other cards feature Felix angry, drunk, listening to radio and in his classic walking pose. Of the 11, just two cards have been used. Scattered handling wear and aging. One card has heavy aging to used back and 3/8" spot of oxidation of front from thumbtack. VG/Fine while rest are VF/Exc. overall. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
