Item Description
8-5/8x10-3/8" die-cut cardboard standee w/easel back has great image of large Felix the Cat w/two smaller Felixes using a large "Velvet" pencil as a lever to move large rock. Standee served as an advertisement for America Pencil Co. "Velvet Pencils" line, "With The Blue Band." Art sign in bkg. reads "Strong Lead," as testified by the use as a lever. ©1931 Pat Sullivan. Standee has some scattered edge wear and 3/8x3/8" eraser tip has been professionally replaced, the repair blends as it is a perfect match. Easel back has unpunched hang hole. Displays VF. Rare and a wonderfully graphic Felix the Cat item.
