Item Description
13x18" artboard has 11.5x15.5" acrylic image area depicting Bugs Bunny seated in "Bug's Monorail" cart, which is filled w/carrots. Side reads "Ride To The Fair - 10 Carrots." This image was used for the cover to a 128-page Whitman coloring book published in 1963. Artboard has a number of production notations at margins as well as tape staining, none of which affect art. Bottom center has .25x1" slice out of margin, but there is slight surface paper pull 1/8" into art, only affecting bkg. Comes w/acetate overlay w/painted title. Lower left margin of overlay sheet is missing 1x9.5" strip, but if framed, art would display Exc. Whitman Archives.
