Item Description
4.5x7.75x3.5" tall painted tin carryall w/tin litho lid w/latch and original thin fabric strap. 1930s. No Disney markings but image depicting large Mickey Mouse dancing w/broom in hand and smaller versions of himself and Minnie Mouse playing music and dancing are very similar to images on an English postcard set of the period. Scattered edge/rim wear w/loss to gold luster of lid latch. Lid has .75" indent at Mickey's leg and broom area. Rest of lid has some scattered lt. wear, most of which is only noticeable in reflected light. Fine/VF. Rare and first we've seen in our 48 years Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
