Item Description
8" tall (12" to top of raised handle) tin litho pail by Ohio Art Co., © Walt Disney Enterprises, c. mid-1930s. Pail features one of the best graphic Disney scenes, showing Mickey Mouse reeling in a large fish as Minnie Mouse watches in back of boat. Rim shows moderate scattered wear and interior shows some wear w/trace oxidation to bottom. Exterior remains bright, glossy and Fine/VF. One of the rarest of the Ohio Art sand pails, this is the first we've offered in our 48 years. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection, this is the actual example shown in their book "Comic Character Metal Sand Toys."
