4x17.25x2.75" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 16" long hard plastic train w/locomotive that is part ship and part airplane/helicopter. Plasticraft, 1950s. Box features Howdy Doody character figures on two sides designed to be cut out and displayed. Comes w/4x17.25" die-cut cardboard insert designed like train track. Box has lt. aging and 2.25" tear to one end flap which also has tape reinforcement to inside of flap hinge and tape repair to 1.75" tear at this corner. Fine appearance when closed. 1/8" piece of Air-O-Doodle's rear hitch is broken off and one circus car loop hitch has a separation but still functions. Train displays VF. Rare detailed set and only the second we've offered boxed in our 48 years.
