Item Description
6.75x10.25x3.25" deep illustrated cardboard box contains 6" long pair of cloth slippers w/zebra-stripe pattern and "Howdy Doody" rubber soles w/smiling Clarabell vinyl head on front top of each w/fabric collar. Hoague-Sprague Corp. c. 1950s. Box has "Clarabell" name stamped on one end w/attached store price tag. Bottom of box has some staining from vinyl as it has aged. This only affects underside and box still displays Exc. Slippers are unused and exhibit aging to collar and vinyl has slight tackiness due to aging. Fine/VF overall. Rare and only the second from this line (that also included Howdy Doody), and the first we've offered of this Clarabell variety.
