Item Description
Original 14x21-7/8" thin cardboard poster for "Grand Ole Opry" concert that took place at the YMCA Building in Ducktown, TN. on March 18, 1957. The concert featured legendary bluegrass performer Bill Monroe and His Blue Grass Boys as well as the Blue Grass Quartet and the Shenandoah Valley Trio. Poster features photo image of Monroe w/"WSM" radio microphone. Poster has been folded into quarters and has some faint moisture staining at top center, but this blends for the most part and poster would display VF if framed. Great poster featuring the father of Bluegrass. Scarce.
