Item Description
Packaging is 2.25x4.25x7" tall overall (missing generic thin plastic cover). Ingraham, ©1954 Kagran. Box bottom reads "Howdy Doody Wrist Watch - It's New - It Teaches Time." Slot at top of base holds die-cut cardboard display figure of Howdy as Sheriff. Character portraits on three sides of base are repeated images of the dial w/Howdy, Clarabell, Princess and Dilly-Dally. Base platform shows corner tip wear and while cover is missing, display remains bright and glossy w/rich color. VF. Display holds .75x1-3/8" chrome luster metal watch w/original blue leather bands (which show lt. wear from use w/some separation of two stitched layers in 1.25" area). Dial shows faces of Howdy, Clarabell, Princess and Dilly-Dally at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock hours, 6 o'clock hour has larger Howdy image. Crystal has lightly yellowed w/age but remains nice for display. VF overall. Dial is Exc. and case retains much bright luster. Running.
