Item Description
Illustrated cardboard box contains wooden puppet on plastic base that reads "A Kohner Product - Copyright Bob Smith." From a 1950s series of Howdy Doody characters by Kohner Bros. Box is stamped w/"Howdy Doody" character name on end panel. Box has even aging and scattered wear w/creases. Fine.When buttons on underside are pushed, bodies move. Howdy Doody stands 5.75" tall and he stands at "NBC" radio microphone. Felt handkerchief. Exc. Clarabell stands 6" tall and has pipe cleaner hat accent and hair. Clarabell stands at wooden xylophone and holds sticks. Moderate aging. Fine overall.
