Item Description
22x35.25" thin cardboard poster for concert that took place June 3, 1972 at the Norfolk Scope Arena in Norfolk, VA. Concert was headlined by Gladys Knight and The Pips, w/Knight being billed by herself and then again w/The Pips. Knight has solo photo to match solo billing and "Make Me The Woman You Go Home To" song title. She is also pictured again w/The Pips and "I Don't Want To Do Wrong" song title. Concert also featured Kool and The Gang ("Love The Life You Live"), The Dramatics ("In The Rain") and The Stylistics ("Betcha By Golly, Wow"). Poster features photos of all acts. Printed by Globe Poster of Baltimore, MD. Poster shows moderate wear along left margin, w/moisture staining. 1" tear at top right and just above Knight solo picture at left. Heavy corner creasing at top left w/.5" tear. 2" vertical tear at bottom center w/3" tear w/color rub across Stylistics name. Scattered .5" to 1" tears from posting to bottom half of poster, bottom margin shows moderate wear. Good/VG. Scarce.
