Item Description
Bagatelle is 11x17x1.25" deep and comes in original illustrated cardboard box. Northwestern Products Co. 1950s. Box design includes game illustration plus instructions for four different games that can be played. These games are "Highscore, Put And Take, Lucky Seven" and "Baseball." Box has just lt. handling w/some creasing across front but o/w clean, tight and VF/Exc. Game has wood frame w/glass cover over illustrated playing surface. Designed w/"Twin Shooters," a pair of spring plungers at bottom plus 10 metal balls. Playing surface features illustration of aircraft carrier w/many different planes flying through the sky including different jet fighters, a bomber and transport plane. Pair of die-cut metal spinners at center, one w/jet plane illustration, the other featuring helicopter. Different ball holders indicating different point values on game surface as well as baseball terms such as home run for use when playing the "Baseball" game. Different point values surround spinners at center, which spinners point at when struck by ball. Very nicely designed game play and great art. Game also comes w/metal wire prop to keep it upright during game play. Aside from nail added on one side by factory to keep balls secure for shipping, toy is unused and NM.
