Item Description
Pair of solid ceramic figurines superbly detailed and painted w/high gloss finish w/Horace Horsecollar standing 9.75" tall and Clarabelle Cow standing 8.75" tall. Horace is depicted tipping his hat while Clarabelle coyishly looks at him, hands clutched in front of her. Superbly crafted, these figurines capture the true essence of the 1930s versions of these beloved Disney characters. Back of one shoe on each has incised "Pot Davis" name while underside of one shoe for each has incised "8-74" date. We have only seen this "Pot Davis" mark on a few figurines. All are very possibly one-of-a-kind creations. Regardless of their origin, they are of the highest quality and reminiscent of vintage figurines produced by the likes of Vernon Kiln, Brayton Laguna, etc. NM.
