Item Description
4.75" tall glazed china figurine. Unmarked but early 1940s. Back of tail has text in gold luster "Japan's Rising Sun" text. The same gold luster is large dot at bottom of skunk's tail representing "sun" on Japan's flag. Trace of wear to gold luster. This figure was also done in plaster in a slightly larger size, but this china version is the scarcer of the two styles. VF/Exc. A classic World War II Anti-Axis item.
