All are early 1930s and these dolls by Charlotte Clark are among the nicest of any Disney dolls ever produced. There were three standard sizes of Clark Mickey and Minnie Mouse dolls produced for retail sale. This Mickey Mouse is the largest size and stands 18.5" tall to the tips of his ears. Minnie Mouse is the middle size and stands 15.5" to the tips of her ears. Both are mostly velveteen w/satin hands and oilcloth eyes. Mickey also has string whiskers and mother-of-pearl buttons. Minnie has long bristle eye lashes and fabric skirt, pantaloons and flower in hat. Both have long velveteen tails. The third doll is 12" tall Pluto w/corduroy body and velveteen ears, nose, tail plus oilcloth eyes. Pluto has all-over very slight aging but still a superior example and actually rarer than Mickey and Minnie. Exc. Mickey and Minnie have slightest age tone to white faces but are o/w totally bright and clean w/vibrant, rich color and appear in nearly the same condition as the day they were produced. NM, as nice as any 1930s dolls we have ever seen/offered in our 48 years. We sold this same set of three in our Nov. 2012 auction for $10,752 and they have now been re-consigned to us in the same immaculate condition. A simply stunning trio.
