Item Description
10.25" tall painted and glazed ceramic figurine of Bette Davis in flowing gown on 4.75x5.5" base. From a Vernon Kilns movie star series, c. 1940. This is variety w/blue base rather than tan. Inside of figure is stamped "Approved By Bette Davis - Sculptured By Janice Pettee." Both names are facsimile signatures. "Vernon Kilns Made In USA" text also appears below names. Tiny glaze nick on wrist but o/w bright, glossy and Exc. All from this Vernon Kilns series are rarely seen.
