Item Description
Lot consists of two pieces of original production art used to produce Disney's classic 1953 animated film "Peter Pan." 10x12" sheet of animation paper has lead and blue pencil image area measuring 4.5x6.5" and depicts bare-breasted (w/her hair discreetly covering her) red-headed mermaid. Art by legendary Disney (and Disney Legend) animator Fred Moore, who was animating the mermaids and Lost Boys when he and his wife were involved in an automobile accident that took Moore's life. Lower right has penciled "12" number and upper right has pencil scale notation. Sheet has lt. even aging but art remains Exc. 12.5x16" acetate sheet features scattered image area measuring 5.5x12" overall and depicts toys scattered about the Darling nursery from scene where Mr. Darling drags Nana the dog out of the room. Lower right has "2074 Seq. 1 Sc. 105" written in ink. Exc.
