Item Description
Vintage 11x14" photo shows "Dragnet" star Jack Webb at right w/four other people. Photo has been boldly inscribed "To Leo - My Very Best Always - Jack" in black ink. Comes w/original cardstock mailing envelope w/"Mark VII" mailing address label and "VII - Photograph - Please Do Not Bend" label. Postage label has "Dragnet" name over "VII" text, all referencing Jack Webb's production company Mark VII Limited, which Webb founded in 1951 (and continued to Webb's death in 1982). Mark VII was responsible for such shows as "Dragnet, Emergency!" and "Adam-12." Envelope shows scattered moderate wear/dust soiling and is Fine overall. In addition to Webb, we assume photo shows Leo G. Gale of The Gale-Patterson Co. w/three others. Photo has some corner tip wear but if framed, would display Exc. A unique item w/a nice personal touch. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
