Item Description
1-7/16X1-11/16” narrow embossed brass frame holds a large and extremely clean ferrotype image of Greeley. The reverse of this piece has his name in black text on pink paper. This piece has different image than Hake #3005 and DeWitt/Sullivan 1872-36. Typically the paper label on the back carries the name “Abbott & Co” as they issued a series of political and military figures during this era but this piece is not marked as such. There is a very small brass loop missing from the top edge of the piece but otherwise condition is NM. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
