Item Description
Each is 1” holed as made. The Garfield jugate is silvered brass while the other three are brass. All but the first item are essentially Mint. Group begins with Hancock jugate DeWitt #1880-4. This has light wear but is Fine. Second is Garfield and Arthur jugate DeWitt #1888-10. Silvered brass with nice patina on the front. Third is Hancock single portrait DeWitt #1880-3. Reverse shows Civil War insignia with slogan “A Superb Soldier/A Model President.” Last is single portrait Garfield DeWitt #1880-8. Reverse reads “Canal Boy 1845/President/1881.” Superb condition on three of the four. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
