Item Description
McKinley is 1.75” and with beautifully colored celluloid. Underside has brass rim holding mirror which has numerous but pinpoint silvering dots off. Silvering still over 95% complete and the celluloid is NM. The TR mirror is 2-1/8” with name of maker W&H on the curl. Side edge has some tan staining but only the thinnest edge of this appears around the front circumference. Silvering is about 99.7% complete. Celluloid side has nice gloss and the narrow stain line barely detracts. Text reads “See Other Side For One Who Ought To Be/Our President.” We had an unstained example of this mirror in Auction #214 which realized well over $300.
