Item Description
As with the previous 1967 Boston group this group includes 1.25” button affixed to an elastic topped garter. There is a second button of the same design with pin suspending a pair of ribbons of which the white one is tanned. Rest of the group consists of a 2.25” button reading “St. Louis Cardinals 1967 World Series.” There are a pair of 3.5” buttons one with the same bird design as the two smaller buttons and the other referencing 1967 Champions which holds a ribbon “Let’s Do It Again In ’68.” Age tanning over the date on the ribbon. Also included are four buttons in the big 6” size. One has color photo of team and one has black and white photo of team. The color one is designated “National League Champions” while the black/white one is designated “1967 World Series Team.” This one has a number of tiny age dots mostly on the very outer edge. There are also a pair of 6” buttons one in English and one in Spanish reading “National League Champs!!” with the bird wearing a crown. The version in English has a couple of tiny rub dots on upper left at eleven o’clock. Rest displays cleanly. The other one, in reflected light, shows some small scattered lines over about 1/3 of the crown area with these showing only in certain light angles. Overall the group displays very well.
