Item Description
6.5" long tin litho w/solid tin roof and cab. Marx. c. 1950. Variety w/closed cab, each window showing character which includes Dick Tracy, Junior, Pat Patten and Sam Catchem. "Dick Tracy" name on hood w/shield logos on driver and passenger doors, profile portrait of Tracy inside each. Back has "305" license and Marx name/logo. Friction mechanism works. Scattered pinpoint paint nicks/scratches. Fine/VF. Comes w/illustrated 11.5" long empty cardboard box that held larger scale Marx "Dick Tracy Siren Squad Car" that was "Powered With Marx Motor." Box is evenly aged and has archival tape repairs inside main end flaps. One main panel has .25" puncture and larger 1.25" jagged puncture w/some surface paper left. VG/Fine overall. Box is scarce.
