Item Description
2.5x4.75x1-1/8" deep cardboard box w/lid that reads "Dick Tracy Wrist Watch" and includes "Dick Tracy Wrist Watch For The Junior - A Guaranteed American Watch" text on lid interior. A rather plain box but very rare and only the second box we have offered in our 48 years. Box lid is loose at hinge but complete w/flocked die-cut insert. Scattered aging/wear. Fine overall. 1-1/8x1.5" chrome luster metal case watch has nice art on dial showing Tracy w/hand in pocket, his other hand holding gun. Small Chester Gould facsimile signature at bottom. Leather bands are a bit worn. VG. Case has some luster wear, but much remains. Still VF/Exc. overall. Running.
