Item Description
Sizes, not counting the blades, range from 2.25” for an early 1950s “Disneyland” knife up to 3.5” for Hopalong Cassidy and many of the others. Group begins with a knife marked “Remington” at the base of the larger blade. Brass grips show full figure of Diana, Goddess Of The Hunt while reverse shows three partially clad women watching four nymphs dancing in a circle to the right. Tiny age traces on the blades but overall Exc. Next is knife with metal text and logo of Chessie the cat inlaid on a mother of pearl lustrous grip with three blades plus small scissors. Each blade does have some brown oxidation but the grips remain in very clean condition, although right side of the front grip has a ghost impression of the reverse of a Lincoln penny although not showing very much. Fine. Next is scarce “Mickey Mouse” 1930s knife. Blade is by Imperial and has some small oxidation on the sides and tiny nick from the edge. Grips remain Fine. Next is 1930s Imperial knife for Popeye. Age on the blades but quite clean grips. Next are a pair for “Dick Tracy And Junior.” These include plastic magnifying glass and whistle. Each has a small crack by a grip rivet on each side which is very typical for this knife but otherwise both are in Exc. condition. Next is the classic “Hopalong Cassidy” knife circa 1950 of which millions were sold. Fine. Next is Mint condition “Lone Ranger” with blade marked “Camco.” Reverse has raised silver bullet and “Rail City Museum/Sandy Pond, N.Y.” 1950s. Next is NM Tom Mix Ralston Straight Shooters knife. Next is 1950s “Roy Rogers And Trigger” knife by Colonial. Small crack by one rivet but rest is very clean. Next from the 1930s is a facsimile signature “Frank Buck” knife by Utica. VF. Last is a “Sky Riders” 1930s aviation themed club knife from sponsor Belle Meade Shoe Co. Small oxidation at base of the blade but rest is VF. Thirteen pieces in all.
