Item Description
Pair of hollow celluloid Kewpie dolls, each jointed at shoulders. 1930s. Pair includes large and impressive 20" doll w/raised company mark, "Made In Japan" text on back and "20" height number. Smaller 12" tall doll has no such marks. Both have mold lines across front of ankles as made. Smaller has aging to body but both are free of any dents or cracks. Some scattered trace wear and dust soiling but VF/Exc. overall. Larger is much rarer size.
