Item Description
Lot of four color proof sheets measuring between 14.75x18.75" and 14.75x20". Lot includes two "Buster Brown" sheets, "His Train Is A Through Express" (1922) and "But When Ma Tags Him --- Well, That's A Different Game" (1923). Other two sheets feature "Polly And Her Pals." First is dated from 1922 and is titled "Polly --- Poor Pa! He Thought He Had It All Fixed" while other is undated w/"Polly - The Way To Cure Pa Is To Make Him Sick" title. Sheets have some uneven edges and trace remnants from scrapbook mounting on reverse of each along collector Murray A. Harris inkstamp on reverse of each. Scattered handling wear/aging but colors remain strong. Fine/VF overall.
