Lot of three pieces of original art for two popular 1980s comic strip characters. 14x16" frame contains original lead pencil art depicting full body art of Garfield from 1988-1994 animated series "Garfield And Friends." Art has some blue pencil accents/shading and has eye color notation at left. Art has some minor smudging by ears as they were redrawn and lower left has tiny moisture spot, but art is Exc. overall and ready for display. Comes w/two ink sketches of Cathy Guisewite's "Cathy" character. First is on 4x6" index card (lined on reverse) showing Cathy in swimsuit w/can of "Diet" soda in her hand. Word balloon reads "To Jim Parrish, Greetings From Bathing Suit Season, 1986" and has been signed by Guiswite below art w/"6/86" date. 5x8" sheet of stiff paper has image of Cathy wearing shirt w/heart, again holding a "Diet" soda as well as a doughnut. Word balloon is inscribed "Best Wishes To Harold Nalvern." Guiswite has added "1-4-91" date below her name. Both are Exc.
