Lot of 13 5x9" thin cardboard cards issued weekly through the mail. All are addressed to same Chicago recipient (name and address having been hand-lettered in ink on each card) and are numbered. Offered here are number 4-6, 8-9, 11-18, issued between Jan. 25 and May 2, 1948. Each is for famous Chicago, IL. TV station Channel 4 WBKB (call letters 1946-1953). These TV listing schedule cards were issued prior to the advent of regional TV publications, which followed the week after the last card offered in this lot (see following item #2488). Listings included professional sporting events including hockey, boxing, wrestling, baseball, Olympics as well as shows like "Kukla, Fran And Ollie," films, etc. Scattered aging and handling w/some corner creases.
