Item Description
Original glossy 8x10" showing five players in uniforms and posed on a ball field. At lower left is Dandridge next to a "Oriente" teammate while standing behind him are three players from "Matanzas." This is the only season Dandridge played in this league. Trace of wear to reverse as once scrapbook mounted. Moderate handling creases most of which are only visible in reflected light but others are evident at corners. One tiny insect hole at right. VG. Image is bold and sharp. Ray Dandridge is considered by many to be the best third baseman in Negro League history and is a member of the National Baseball HOF. Richard Merkin Collection and comes w/Hake's COA.
