Item Description
Two are for the A's, each is 5x7, the other 13 are for the Phillies and about 4.5x6.5 or slightly smaller as trimmed and w/o borders. All are glossy silver gelatin photos. Every reverse has "Spooner & Wells, Inc. Photographers” ink stamp w/NYC address as well as penciled text including numbers and player names. The A's photos are posed on-field shots of Cy Morgan and Jack Barry. These are c. 1910, the same year this team won the World Series. The Phillies photos are c. 1909 and a nice mix of players posed and in action. No stars of note but great images. Moderate handling wear and some aging (mostly to reverses) but all remain glossy w/sharp and bold images. Fine overall. Nice early photos.
