Item Description
Original chipboard box w/illustrated lid label contains 4.5x4.5x4.75" tall toy which features celluloid pilot from waist up seated in cockpit of tin litho airplane w/built-in key. Made in Japan by Empress, 1930s. Box has Empress label w/stock number. Lid has two corner splits and shows wear. VG/Fine. Toy works when wound and progresses as plated bell on back of plane rings. Exc. Neat design. Scarce w/box.
