22x35-3/8" thin cardboard poster for concert that took place July 7, 1968 at the Baltimore Civic Center in Baltimore, MD. Concert was presented by Premier Attractions w/Al Jefferson of WWIN radio station and Kerby Scott of WBAL-TV serving as MCs. Concert featured Sam & Dave (of "The Soul Man" song fame), along w/Jr. Walker and The All Stars, The Manhattans, The Persians, The Mirettes and Maxine Brown. The only act that isn't represented by a photo are The Persians. Printed by Globe Poster of Baltimore, MD. Poster has some wear at corners, w/1.25" triangular tear at upper right. Upper left, bottom corners and center right have tears from staples as poster was originally hung to promote concert. Upper left has some creasing and lower margin has some minor surface paper wear. 1" tear just right of top center w/archival tape repair on reverse. Even lt. aging. Poster is in original state. Fine.
