Item Description
27x22." Stiff cardboard by Globe Posters. Features a striking portrait of a young Aretha Franklin. Promotes a concert Sept. 27 at Knoxville Civic Coliseum. Songs listed include "Baby, Baby, Baby; Chain Of Fools; Respect; Prove It; Take A Look; Natural Woman" and "Think". In 1968 Franklin won her first Grammy award and was presented with the SCLC Drum Beat award by her long time friend and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. An 11x10" area at top left was professionally replaced. Inpainting top most text above portrait. The remainder of the poster, including portrait, is original and overall displays VF as restored. Rare and difficult to obtain in any condition.
