Item Description
Complete set (w/duplicate set) of "Science Fiction Classics" and seven issues of "Fantasy Review" publication for total of 21 6x7.75" publications. Undated, c. 1940s. "Science Fiction Classics" titles include #1-6; "Martian Martyrs" by John Coleridge (Earl and Otto Binder pseudonym), "Valley Of Pretenders" by Dennis Clive (John Russell Fearn pseudonym), "The Machine That Thought" by William Callahan (Raymond Z. Gallun pseudonym), "The New Life" by Coleridge, "The Voice Commands" by Clive and "Rhythm Rides The Rocket" by Bob Olsen. Four back covers promote "Science Fiction Stories" and "Science Fiction Quarterly" pulps. All issues have age toning/dust to covers. Fine/VF w/Exc. contents. Duplicate set is in roughly the same condition. "Fantasy Review" includes Volume 1, #1 issue and other issues from the late 1940s into early 1950. First issue has some moisture staining along spine and is Fine overall. Content of note in other issues include interviews w/Edgar Rice Burroughs, Arthur C. Clark and book review by Forrest J. Ackerman. Covers have age toning/dust soiling. Fine/VF w/Exc. contents.
