5-5/8x14" paper window sign w/gummed strips on front at left/right margins. Same format as previous item #2083. Early 1940s. © Superman, Inc. Sign features great full body image of Superman carrying sign reading "Join Today - Superman Junior Defense League Of America - Ask Your Grocer." Additional sign text reads "Boys And Girls Ask Mother To Try" w/unused blank space for bread name/price. Sign goes on to read "Step Up Your Pep - Every Day With Bread You'll Love To Eat - Coming - Superman Bread - Watch For It" promotional text. Sign has lt. even aging and scattered wear along left/right margins, including some creases at left corners. Sign is unused and Fine. Rare, w/only a few known examples.
