Item Description
6" dia. by 4" deep tin litho w/original thin mesh-covered paper drumheads. Complete w/original side accent strings, woven carrying strap and wooden drumsticks. Ohio Art, 1930s. Wrap-around scene depicts multiple images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Pluto playing instruments, riding in a cart, Mickey shown in dapper attire, Donald depicted as Don Donald, etc. Drumheads are aged, one side more so than the other. Less aged side has 2" spot of moderate aging/wear. Both remain firmly intact w/no breaks/punctures. Image area remains bright and glossy, VF overall. The all tin versions of Ohio Art drums are more commonly seen than this paper drumhead variety.
