Item Description
Large 33.25x47" stiff paper poster for Jan. 18, 1970 concert that took place at the Munich German Museum. Concert was one of the last for Fleetwood Mac founder and lead guitarist Peter Green, as his use of LSD began causing him to doubt his place in the band and the band itself. He began to urge other band members to give all their performance money to charity before leaving the band May 20, 1970. This opened the door for Christine McVie to join a few months later. Poster features photo of brightly-colored and bizarre-looking ragdoll by Gunther Kieser depicting drummer Mick Fleetwood, w/"Fleet Wood Mac" embroidered across its chest. Poster was printed in West Germany and distributed by Darien house, Inc. of New York City. Poster has been rolled and has some handling wear at edges w/left margin having .25", .5" and 1" tears w/archival tape repairs on reverse w/right margin having three .5" tears w/archival tape repairs on reverse. Fine overall, but would frame for a nice display.
