All are litho tin and sizes are 5/8” to 7/8”. Group begins with rare button issued between 1922-1925 that reads “Fight the Jailers/Labor Defense Council.” The Communist Party established the organization to raise funds for bail and legal defense for those arrested in Aug. 22, 1922 raid on the Bridgeman, Michigan convention of the underground party. Most brass luster off the reverse, front has shallow dent and noticeable but moderate all over paint wear. VG. Next is “Friends of the Daily Worker”. The paper began in 1924 and this is an early issue. The last four are all 1930s. “For A United Struggle Against Fascism” has two faint rub marks, the “Vote Communist” has tiny paint loss from edge and tiny white marks on the background, the oval “10th Convention” is from 1938 and NM and the “20 Years Communist Party” is from 1939 with trivial pinpoint dots off upper left edge.
