Item Description
First is 1.25” with age toned W&H paper and colorful design showing “1904 Socialist Candidates Eugene V. Debs/ Ben. Hanford”. This has small and light age mark on upper left of Debs, a faint center and right light pair of marks on Hanford and lightly aged a few places on the colorful background but blending and not obvious. This is Hake Third Party SOC-4. Next is 7/8 with union bug on back and front text “Socialist Candidates 1912 Debs Seidel”. Very slight red fade and very faint scattered hairline scratches that just show in reflected light. Full gloss. Hake SOC-10. Last is 7/8 with J.B. Carroll union bug on back. There is also a W&H version of this. Text reads “Socialist Candidates/Benson/ Kirkpatrick”. Hake SOC-11. NM, displaying Mint. Hake 2004 guide values for the three exceed $1000.
