Item Description
From same series as previous item #2078. This is "Superman, The Man Of Tomorrow" puzzle, lid featuring bw image of puzzle that depicts Superman hefting barrel of anti-aircraft cannon (w/biplane in bkg.) as seen on the cover of "Action Comics" #19 (Dec. 1939). Two side panels feature great image of Superman sprinting. Box lid has crease at one corner and scattered lt. dust soiling. Inked name on puzzle image. One corner edge has moderate wear w/some color touch-up and side panel has .25" spot of surface paper lift. Box retains its shape and is VG/Fine overall. Puzzle has assembled size of 12x16" and is complete. Exc. Franco Toscanini Collection.
