Item Description
Sizes are 11/16” to 13/16”. Each has woven fabric front with metal lapel stud reverse. The first shows birth place of William Henry Harrison, the 1888 candidate’s grandfather and includes the slogan “Tippe Canoe And Morton Too.” The next five have some combination of the names Harrison and Morton along with the date of 1888. The last piece has rim slogan “Protection/Reciprocity” with a center emblem that appears to consist of the capital letter “H” for Harrison over the inscription “P & R” for Protection & Reciprocity. All are Exc. to Mint. Don & Mildred Wright Collection. An excellent sampling of the many varieties produced.
