See previous item #1592. This is pen and ink original art for "Indoor Sports" single-panel comic on 9x13-1/8" thin artboard. Art depicts boxing match w/spectators commenting on the prowess of one of the boxer's father. "Indoor Sports" caption box reads "Sitting In At The Whalem A.C. And Watching The Old Timer's Son Do His Stuff." Art has been signed at lower right and is dated "6-1." 1920s. Some blue pencil shading. Bottom left corner has moderate foxing and artboard has even lt. aging w/pinholes to top/bottom margins. Pencil editorial note at bottom margin. Art remains clean and VF.
